CLUB
The Miami United FC is a privately owned semi-pro soccer team focused on initial participation in the NPSL Sunshine Conference.
Miami United FC, also known as Equipo del Pueblo, or the People’s Team, is the oldest club representing the magic city of Miami and the whole Miami-Dade County. Our main dedication is to promote and enhance support for soccer amongst fans. We are the team that sparks excitement through providing great championship games for our followers. We are currently the team in which every aspiring player in Miami wants to play for. We reflect diversity and inclusiveness. We do this by having the best coaches and support staff available to help the players continually improve and therefore helping the club flourish and rise to the next level of professional sports in Miami. We set the standard for professional sports and community engagement in the Miami area, being the best platform and assisting young local talent to showcase themselves, launching the players into the world of professionalism.
TEAM
The club was able to compete in the very prestigious U.S. Open Cup for six times in a decade, reaching the fourth round in the 2018 edition (first time for an NPSL Club), facing off Orlando City, an MLS team, entering the best 24 teams in the United States. Last November 19th, after winning four rounds, the club qualified for the 7th time for the Upcoming U.S. Open Cup edition, which will be played in March 2024. In addition to the clubās success on the field, we continue to focus and care for our community. MUFC has for years been a proud and active member of Autism Soccer, a non-profit organization focused on providing healthy recreation and developmental growth for autistic youth in the Miami area, through the various fundamentals of soccer. In addition to the clubās first successes competing in the NPSL, the MUFC U21 team was crowned champion of Florida Tournaments twice in a row (2016, 2017) among other achievements with MUFC Youth (U19). During this time, several players have gone on to compete professionally in Europe, South America and Asia. On April 27th 2017, The Highest Tribute and the Key Of The City were given to Roberto Sacca by all the members of the board of the Miami-Dade County commissioners, including County Mayor Carlos Gimenez, proclaiming, additionally, April 27th as “Miami United Football Club Day “. Lately the club has established a partnership with Club de Futbol Pachuca .
